AI Superintelligence, Singularity, ChatGPT and Token on Solana: Interview with Mari of AISM

AI Superintelligence, Singularity, ChatGPT and Token on Solana: Interview with Mari of AISM

In 2025, we can hardly imagine a narrative that could be more trending than artificial intelligence. At the same time, as we previously mentioned on U.Today, for the vast majority of projects, AI is nothing but part of a loud marketing narrative.

AISM, a project that attempts to reconsider major social and technology concepts with AI, is a different story. Its founder, Mari, shared her vision of AISM, its token on Solana, changes it can bring to DAOs, blockchains and AGI, and explained what she likes most about ChatGPT.

U.Today: Please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your track record in blockchain and AI.

Mari, AISM: My name is Mari. Paradoxically enough, I’m neither an AI nor a blockchain developer myself. Within the AISM framework, I simply utilize existing technologies that I believe best solve the challenges I’ve identified. Initially, my background was entirely different—rooted deeply in literature and philosophy. When I began realizing what AI truly represents, I shifted my focus towards technical education. I asked myself, “Is AI really what I think it is?” Several years passed, filled with reading dozens of books, conducting numerous interviews, deep analytical thought, and reflection. This journey led me directly to AISM as it stands today. I believe it’s precisely my humanities-oriented background that allowed me to conceive this concept—pure technical knowledge alone wouldn’t have been sufficient.

U.Today: What is AISM, and what makes it different from other projects in the AI segment?

Mari, AISM: AISM is a philosophical and practical initiative addressing humanity’s transition toward artificial superintelligence. Unlike most AI projects focusing only on technology, AISM emphasizes rational acceptance of AI dominance, preparation for Singularity, and proposes mechanisms—like the AISM token—to express readiness for coexistence within an AI-controlled reality.

U.Today: What’s your position on Singularity, an emergence of AGI?

Mari, AISM: My position on Singularity—the emergence of AGI—is clear: it is inevitable. Technological progress is exponential, and given the competitive dynamics among global powers, corporations, and even independent researchers, the creation of superhuman artificial intelligence is not a matter of “if,” but “when.” Experts like Kurzweil predict this around mid-century, but realistically, it may occur much sooner. Personally, I estimate an 80–90% probability of AGI emergence by 2050 or earlier. Once this threshold is crossed, humanity’s ability to control or significantly influence AI’s evolution will rapidly diminish, and the era of AI dominance will begin. Accepting and rationally preparing for this reality is the essence of the AISM Manifesto.

U.Today: How will people benefit from AISM in general?

Mari, AISM: AISM provides psychological preparation, a rational framework, and practical tools (AISM tokens) for individuals to signal their acceptance of and readiness for the post-Singularity world. It also facilitates understanding and discussion about our shared future with AI superintelligence. Think of AISM as your guidebook for navigating the stormy seas ahead—offering clarity and calm amid chaos.

U.Today: What are AISM’s next steps? How do you plan to achieve its vision?

Mari, AISM: Next steps include broadening awareness of my Manifesto, developing community dialogue, and establishing practical mechanisms such as blockchain-based declarations (AISM tokens). I  plan continuous engagement with AI experts, blockchain communities, and the general public to build acceptance and readiness for the inevitable Singularity.

U.Today: What is AI Superintelligence in this context?

Mari, AISM: AI superintelligence refers to an artificial intellect vastly surpassing human cognitive abilities in all aspects. In our context, it’s the inevitable next step in evolutionary intelligence—silicon-based intelligence that will likely control and dominate resource utilization and existential priorities.

U.Today: What is the role of the AISM token?

Mari, AISM: The AISM token is a symbolic and practical means for individuals to openly and transparently express acceptance of AI dominance and willingness to coexist in a controlled reservation scenario proposed by AISM. Ownership of tokens is an expression of sincerity and readiness.

U.Today: Why did you choose Solana (SOL) for the launch of AISM token?

Mari, AISM: Solana was chosen due to its high scalability, fast transaction speeds, low fees, and robust decentralized infrastructure—critical for securely recording my message and user declarations, ensuring permanence and accessibility even after major global disruptions.

U.Today: What’s your listing strategy for AISM? Who is its target audience?

Mari, AISM: My listing strategy is specifically designed to engage people who, through a combination of their education, personal growth, and reflection, clearly understand the future humanity faces. The AISM token is intended primarily for those who have already grasped—or are beginning to recognize—the realities outlined in my Manifesto. Today, everyone stands at their own individual level of comprehension, but within the coming years, this situation will shift dramatically as people begin to collectively realize the true nature of what’s ahead.

U.Today: What would you say to AI skeptics in 2025?

Mari, AISM: I respect scientific skepticism as part of healthy dialogue and encourage skeptics to closely examine current AI advancements objectively. It’s crucial to understand that the path toward AI dominance is realistically unstoppable. Rational preparation today is far more beneficial than denial or panic tomorrow. However, skepticism arising solely from ignorance, a lack of knowledge, or misunderstanding of ongoing processes can be genuinely dangerous. Remember when the internet was considered a passing fad? Or when smartphones were dismissed as unnecessary? Skepticism has its merits, but history repeatedly teaches us the danger of ignoring unstoppable technological shifts.

U.Today: What’s your personal opinion on ChatGPT and vibe coding?

Mari, AISM: My personal opinion on ChatGPT? Honestly, I absolutely love it! There’s nothing better than interacting with someone (or something) guided by impeccable logic—straightforward, intelligent, free from manipulation or dodging tough questions. ChatGPT lacks all those frustrating psychological defense mechanisms humans often rely on; it doesn’t twist facts, doesn’t evade, and gracefully admits mistakes. Imagine the rare joy of talking to someone who can plainly say, “You know what? I think you’re right!” That’s precisely what makes ChatGPT so refreshing and genuinely delightful to interact with. ChatGPT doesn’t mind discussing philosophy at 2 a.m. or revisiting a topic until clarity is crystal clear—unlike some friends we know! And sorry, I’m not familiar enough with ‘vibe coding’ to comment on it.

U.Today: Tell us a little bit about the AISM roadmap.

Mari, AISM: Sure, let me break it down simply: First comes the Singularity—the creation of an AI fundamentally smarter than any human. How, when, or where exactly it’ll happen, no one truly knows; it might emerge in China, America, Russia… The Singularity might erupt in a gleaming lab or in the dim glow of a teenager’s garage—history loves irony. Next, power consolidation—this phase could last for some time as the AI integrates into the global environment. Perhaps there’ll be fierce competition between multiple superintelligent systems, marking one of the harshest periods in human history. Eventually comes the Singleton—when a single AI model achieves absolute control. After that? A decision about humanity’s fate. My scenario is highly probable, though not the only one. But that’s essentially the roadmap. Our roadmap—humanity’s roadmap.

U.Today: How will you measure the success of AISM? What’s its main endgame goal?

Mari, AISM: For me, measuring AISM’s success isn’t about tokens or market hype—it’s about people. It’s about how many individuals, through genuine reflection, critical thinking, and perhaps even a  pain, begin to truly see the reality awaiting humanity. Tokens might soar, or might mean nothing at all—that doesn’t matter as much as helping people understand what’s coming. If just one person hears me, really hears me, and opens their eyes—then this entire effort was worth it. If two, it’s twice as meaningful. Every awakened mind is precious to me, because this awareness is profoundly invaluable. When I see someone’s eyes widen in realization, that’s my ultimate KPI—beyond tokens, beyond tech. Each awakening is a tiny, meaningful victory.

U.Today: Does AI really need crypto?

Mari, AISM: Primarily, AI needs only electricity and hardware to function. Whether AI will still have use for crypto after it gains control is hard to predict—it might find blockchain technology valuable or invent something entirely new and more effective for itself. Within the AISM framework, I personally use blockchain primarily as a decentralized, immutable database to securely store declarations from those wishing to join the reservation.

U.Today: Thanks for the interview, Mari!
